All of the sudden, our daily stream of incoming multi-format content is being interrupted by Christmas. During the festive period, people and their adored brands are getting crazy while counting down days and hours for the new year to come. A new resolution to set. Moments with the beloved ones, gatherings, gifts, wishes, drinks, sweets, glitter and, lots and lots of sales. Lights on the high street. Pre-Black Friday, Post-Black Friday, Pre Cyber Monday, Bonus Black Friday and so on. Sales events are Happiness.
Opportunity for happiness. Happiness is a red labeled bottle. A golden packaged thing. A song. Hapiness is the emotion driven video ads of John Lewis and Sainsbury's.
I buy, therfore I exist.
